Code of Conduct
Code of Conduct:

The Velocity Lacrosse Association Staff is committed to a zero tolerance
policy concerning physical violence.  We do not condone, teach, or
practice these acts. Violent physical acts include, but are not limited to,
fighting, foul language, taunting, hazing, abusive conduct towards
referees, abusive conduct to others, and dangerous or harmful play.

All players and parents are expected to conduct themselves in a manner
that is respectful of each other, the teams, all coaches, and all spectators.

Failure to act in such a manner is cause for dismissal from the program
and forfeiture of all fees.

The Velocity Lacrosse Association staff expects all players to hold
themselves to the following code of conduct at all times:

· Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that honors
the game and demonstrates respect for other players, coaches, officials,
and spectators at all times.

· Participants are not permitted to be in the possession of or under the
influence of alcohol, drugs, and/or tobacco products.

· Participants are not permitted to be in the possession of weapons.

· Participants are expected to wear all the necessary and required
equipment for participation in lacrosse.

· Participants are expected to report any and all injuries to a member of
the coaching staff and event medical staff.

· Participants are expected to treat all tournament and camp facilities with
respect. The
V.L.A. will not tolerate any actions of vandalism or actions that
result in damage to property. The
Velocity Lacrosse Association will hold
participants legally and financially responsible for any and all damages to
league or camp facilities.

·Participants are expected to report on time for all games and scheduled
events.
